EMpower is a professional membership organisation, helping corporate members drive greater BAME (black, Asian and minority ethnic) inclusion at all levels of their organisations. Founded in 2017, it provides powerful network connections, helping businesses create diverse and representative workplace environments where everyone can succeed. EMpower is backed by 10 founding members:
EMpower members get access to role modelling events and activities, mentoring and reverse mentoring, leadership development activities at both a senior and future leader level, and bespoke thought leadership.
The membership offering is a separate entity to the EMpower role model lists, however the two initiatives complement each other, proving that background or ethnicity should not and will not be a barrier to professional success.
If you’re interested in discussing membership opportunities, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact our membership team for further details.
EMpower 100 Ethnic Minority Leaders, presented by the FT
EMpower publishes role model lists annually in partnership with the Financial Times, celebrating 100 BAME business leaders and 30 BAME future leaders who are making great strides in ethnic diversity and inclusion both inside and outside the workplace. The lists sit outside of the membership offering, but the two initiatives complement each other, proving that background or ethnicity should not and will not be a barrier to professional success.
The 2017 lists can be found here.
