Board Readiness: Effective Boards - Compliance, risk and strategy
PwC, 7 More London Riverside, London, SE1 2RT
22nd November 2016 - 8am
OUTstanding will be bringing together a panel of experts and seasoned board professionals to share their experience of boardroom best practice.
Recent research has shown that boards have tended to shift their focus on to compliance and risk, often at the expense of long term strategies and goals. Our interactive programme will explore the importance of strategy and offer practical guidance from our expert speakers from a range of industries. Our delegate/speaker ‘breakouts’ will provide a platform for intimate group discussion and a discreet forum to have your questions answered. This session will be held under Chatham House rules to create an open and honest environment for discussion and questions.
This session is open to delegates who wish to maximise their potential on a board.
Alastair Flanagan, Senior Partner, Boston Consulting Group will lead the session looking at compliance and risk balanced alongside long-term strategy.
David Isaac CBE, Partner, Pinsent Masons, Chair of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, Modern Art Oxford, a Director of the Big Lottery Fund and a Trustee of 14-18 Now.
